Abstract :
The research team E-MOTION is now working on the features of the vehicle of tomorrow.
How the car could help the driver digitally without taking his role?
That is the issue on which works Grenoble researchers.
With many built-in sensors, algorithms for recognition and self-learning, the system reconstructs the environment and predicts the behavior of objects around the car and those of the driver.
Christian Laugier, scientific leader of E-MOTION team, and Mathias Perrollaz, researcher, explain the objectives and principles of this project.
