Abstract :
Presentation of the research activities conducted by the SHARP Project at INRIA Rhône-Alpes, in the field of robotics programming. The objective is to make robots more autonomous so that they can adapt their behaviour to the environment and execute complex tasks.

Three complementary ways explored by the researchers are successively displayed:
- Motion planning : several techniques developed and examples of their system integration.
- Dynamic simulation for robotics: a new software which takes into account the dynamic phenomena resulting from the interactions between the robot and its environment.
- Motion autonomy for vehicles: a software architecture for autonomous driving tested on an electric car.
